As the school year comes to a close, we had our crossing over ceremony for Pack 54 at our annual Spring Family Camp Out. It was a lot of fun for the kids – they got to practice their orienteering through a course of several skill obstacles and race to the end. And of course, they got to run around the woods like wild little boys – just exactly what they like to do.

So, now that they are crossed over, they are Bear cub scouts! It opens up a new chapter for us all, and new planning opportunity for me (the assistant den leader) and John (the den leader).
